INAHTA Board Director 2024-2026
Ontario Health, Canada
For the past five years, I’ve been the Senior Program Advisor for Ontario Health’s Health Technology Assessment (HTA) program, during which time Ontario Health has been an INAHTA member. In my role, I’ve closely followed INAHTA’s developments and its contributions to advancing HTA science, disseminating knowledge, and fostering cooperation among member agencies.
Since May 2022, I have co-led the Environmental Sustainability in HTA Learning Group, which was formed by INAHTA. Through this work, I presented on the issue of environmental sustainability in HTA at the INAHTA Annual Business Meeting in 2022. As co-lead, I gained insight into secretariat and governance processes, particularly in developing initiatives like an INAHTA task group. Currently, I participate in the INAHTA Environmental Sustainability Paper Author Task Group. The Group is tasked with producing a white paper or journal article on the topic of environmental impact considerations in HTA.
Furthermore, I am a member of the INAHTA External Partnerships Standing Committee, which oversees the management of Network partnerships with external organizations. This role provides me with insight into INAHTA’s governance processes and its role in the HTA and global evidence-building space.
