Vision for INAHTA:
I believe very much in the Network, which begun almost like a club and has become one of the biggest collaborative initiatives in HTA. I have been committed with INAHTA for a long time and I really trust the original spirit of the Network. Nowadays, in a different scenario with several initiatives around, new challenges have arisen. I think that INAHTA should take a relevant position in this changing situation. Member agencies have the experience and the know-how to reach such position.
In addition, improving the methods, implementing collaborating projects and participating in training activities in HTA, will help to develop new HTA units or agencies in regions and countries that need support for better decision making processes. This will be helpful during the introduction or management of health technologies in their own contexts.
Increasingly Spanish speaking countries are implementing HTA units and agencies, some of them are INAHTA members, others still not. I firmly believe that I could be a link with these emerging colleagues. |
