About the HTA Database
The HTA Database contains information on healthcare technology assessments and is managed by INAHTA in collaboration with our UK member Centre for Reviews and Dissemination (CRD).
The HTA database was created in 1998, however, the earliest documents included were published in 1988. New records are continually added and INAHTA publications and ongoing reviews are sent to CRD by the INAHTA Secretariat every six months. CRD also identifies new reports and adds full abstracts to existing records between updates by continually searching the literature and relevant HTA websites. This ensures that the contents are up-to-date.

Records on the HTA database are also available in Spanish, produced by AETS at the Instituto de Salud Carlos III in Madrid.
Inclusion criteria
Many different types of research are included in the HTA Database, eg, systematic reviews, ongoing and completed research based on trials, questionnaires, and economic evaluations. The HTA Database does not use quality inclusion criteria to select records for the database. However, all records in the database are publications and projects from INAHTA members and other nationally funded HTA organizations.
Acknowledgements
We would like to extend our gratitude to all HTA colleagues who contribute and keep the information in the database up-to-date. Many thanks especially to our colleagues at CRD who produce the HTA Database.
