The first Global Forum of the new WHO Global Noncommunicable Disease Network (NCDnet)
8-9 April 2010, The Hague, The Netherlands
A special two-day working conference, funded by the EC Seventh Framework Programme, aims to bring together health services researchers, health (care) policy makers and stakeholders from across Europe and to set an agenda with priorities for health services research in Europe and at national level, tuned to the information needs of policy makers. Both policy makers and researchers are invited to participate in this special conference. HTA is specifically included in the conference, which gives an obvious opportunity to discuss the future priorities for health services research in relation to HTA. DACEHTA is a partner and responsible for the work on health services research in relation to HTA.
This special event gives you the opportunity to:
- Hear about the latest scientific insights in HSR from across Europe
- Share your own innovative research or your country’s policy issues with others
- Debate with researchers and policy makers how to strengthen linkage between the two fields
- Help develop a policy supportive HSR agenda for your country and Europe as a whole.

The first Global Forum of the new WHO Global Noncommunicable Disease Network (NCDnet)
February 24, 2010, Geneva, Switzerland
The Action Plan for the Global Strategy for the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Diseases endorsed at the Sixty-first World Health Assembly by 193 Member States, specifically calls upon international advocates and partners, countries and WHO to promote partnerships for the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases.
The creation of the new Global Noncommunicable Disease Network ("NCDnet") will enable WHO to engage key stakeholders in concrete ways, addressing issues ranging from advocacy, to innovative resourcing mechanisms and including measuring and evaluating our progress along the way

4th International Symposium on Evidence-based health care

The EBHC Symposium, organized for the fourth time, is a unique educational initiative for interested individuals from Poland and other countries of Central and Eastern Europe. 29th Nordic Congress of Psychiatry

Pandemic Influenza - European Experiences and Perspectives
